Alex has returned from Italy! I missed him terribly and life was so strange without him. I look back on the last seven years that I was his nanny as I watch him. That time is over now - I got married and he is too old for a nanny now. He got taller while he was away. He's happy to be back around his family, friends and in school again. He spent the day with us - Ezra and Asa were overjoyed to see their long lost pal. There was a good bit of sword fighting, cookie baking and he talked my head off excitedly. He gave me a pendant he got in Venice that he put on a string for me. I used to call him my green-eyed saint when he was small. Being a part of his life has been one of my greatest blessings.

This is Luciano's son, right?
Posted by: jeep at January 20, 2004 10:57 AMYes, it's Luciano's son. You know them?
Posted by: Michelle Duncan at January 20, 2004 11:33 AMHow is Alex back in the States? Is Luciano back?
Posted by: JosiahQ at January 20, 2004 03:33 PMHey Josiah, Yes - Luciano, Alex and Alana flew into Atlanta on Jan.8th. I am hearing that they may return to Italy in the summer.
Posted by: Michelle at January 20, 2004 03:45 PMYep, I used to work at La Dolce Vita...before I got fired. But it's all for the best.
Posted by: jeep at January 20, 2004 06:25 PMI wonder if I ever met you. I mostly went in when Tisho was alive - we were close and it was a sad place with her gone. By the way - really lovely picture of the woman with the baby.
Posted by: Michelle at January 20, 2004 07:09 PMChelle Alex is HUGE!!! I still have a couple of his pictures, but he looks like a completely different person now. I am happy to know he is back and safe, and I truly hope that you get good quality time with him. Please give him a big hug. By the way this is a pretty neat idea...I hope Amy would do it too so that we can have pictures of the little ones. Love yo tons. The brown one.
