I dreamed last night that I went into labor but my midwife couldn’t make it because there was a flood. I looked below into the streets from my window and saw her floating by on a log. She looked pretty serene considering. So the birth was fast and without a mess of any kind and the baby looked too tiny and clean. I couldn’t figure out what to do next and then he turned into a baby kitty cat. Strangely I wasn’t alarmed.

These days I think in We. I cannot help it. He is his own little person but for now we go everywhere together, we eat together, we move together, we listen together…we lay in the sun. pregsketchsun.bmp Of course he is the one who falls asleep on our walks like a warm, heavy bowling ball. But still we are together, never apart. Sometimes I wake up at night and feel him tapping from the inside and wonder how long he’s been playing while I slept.

Some things we don’t like…

* the four flights of stairs up to our apartment
* when there is no parking space in front of our house
* creepy people at the laundry mat
*running out of good books
*cleaning the house

Some things we like…

*Food
*Washing my hair after a long night at work and going to bed with it slightly damp and feeling the breeze come in all the windows
*Taking naps
*Watching films – especially in the cool, dark theater
*Hearing both of our heartbeats at our midwife appointments
*we like it after we’ve already cleaned the house

Love the doodles, I never doodle enough. I also had a pregnancy dream where my boy turned into a cat and I couldn't figure out how to diaper aound his tale. Also I was not alarmed!!

this post is sweet. i like how you think in terms of "we" these days. i had a dream last night that i rescued an unwanted baby. someone left it in a box. how sad.

I also love to go to sleep with my hair damp. Jose thinks I'm nuts and insists that I'm going to catch a cold. I never do though. Nice post:))
